Skills area

Skills area

We have 7 technical courses in the area. It’s a perfect start before you head up into the forest to cycle the trails.

In the technical area or “the skills area” you can practice techniques of various kinds in a small area. There are jumps, drops, berms, loaves, pumps, balance beams, heels, stone chest, slalom and rock.

It’s perfect if you want to be able to ride the whole family in the same place and everyone can still ride at their level. Speed and track selection increase the level of difficulty.

The technical tracks are designed together with Niklas Skogh, MTB course builder.

Flow trails

We have 5 flow trails on the farm. It’s a perfect start before you head up into the forest to cycle the trails.

A flow trail is a landscaped, playful mountain bike trail that suits a broad target group. Turns and level differences provide a nice flow that makes cycling fun for both children and adults, no matter what level you are at in your cycling.

Our flow trails are designed together with Niklas Skogh, course builder in MTB.

About our Pumptrack

One of our technical tracks is a Pump track. It has been possible to build with support from Leader Sörmlandskusten.

This is how the project went;

After an application and a quick “Go” from Leader Sörmlandskusten, the Pump Track was planned and implemented. Crucial to the design and a successful end result was that we enlisted the help of Niklas Skogh, a professional course designer and course builder. For a couple of weeks in May, we went from the first sod to the first premiere run.

We see the Pump Track as an important part of our Technical Area and in our entire offer to all our visiting cyclists. A good Technology Area with a Pump Track is a home for basically everyone. We are often visited by “little ones” who ride hour after hour on balance bikes with us. We have had jumping, experienced MTB-ers in their 25s who “grind on” lap after lap. And not least, more and more families have come to us where everyone can cycle together in the same place but based on what level each one is at.

Among our Pumptrack cycling visitors, the majority also go out on our 23 km of landscaped, marked and maintained trails and loops in the forest. And that’s where the adventure and entertainment continues.

The pump track is an important part of our work to create a popular MTB destination and the development of Bergs Gård’s MTB arena.

Thanks to Leader Sörmlandskusten for good cooperation!
