Manage booking
If you book a cabin, campsite or room in a hostel with us, we process your Personal Data for the purpose of providing, managing, administering, following up and charging for your booking. This also includes our processing for the purpose of reminding or informing you of your booking in connection with your stay.
It is necessary that you provide the information we request in order for us to be able to handle your booking. When you book on behalf of another person, you are responsible to us for ensuring that you have permission from the other person(s) to process their Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Your Personal Data and other information about your booking may be transferred to one of our subcontractors (e.g. our suppliers of IT services, booking systems, analysis, advertising and statistical services) within and outside the EU/EEA.

We store your data for 12 months after the end of your stay. However, if you have chosen to receive ongoing information from us (offers, newsletters, follow us on social media, etc.), your information will be saved longer under your profile in our systems/booking systems to ensure that your Personal Data is available until the next time you make a booking.
Processing personal data through consent, subscription to news or based on a balance of interests.
If you have chosen to follow us in the form of, for example, subscribing to our news or given consent for such processing, we process your personal data in order to provide, manage, administer, follow up and maintain your subscription. This includes, among other things, our processing of your Personal Data for the purpose of informing, communicating and responding to requests from you. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Your Personal Data is stored for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the various purposes of our processing. Thereafter, we will securely delete or de-identify your Personal Data so that it is no longer possible to link it to you. During each of the processing operations listed above, there is a defined storage period. The retention period is extended in the event of new cases or consent.
Bergs gård deletes Personal Data in accordance with applicable law from time to time and in accordance with the criteria set out above. This means, for example, that we delete or de-identify your Personal Data when the purpose of the processing has been fulfilled.
